Weft: Material: wool dyed dark brown, silk, ivory, natural Spin/Ply: 5 spun; Density: 80in.
Decoration/Surface: Technique: Slit tapestry with much curved weftings; remains of balanced, 5 spun linen plainweave ground.

The roundel depicts a plant whose stalk ends in a heart-shaped blossom and round branching flowers; woven in the usual weft direction rather than warpwise- The presence of silk indicates a high quality workshop
